See the post below this one? I told ya I’d get burnt out on the blogging thing after a while. I logged in here a week or two ago and realized that I hadn’t posted in over 6 months. The past few weeks I’ve been thinking of all sorts of things I want to write about - I just wasn’t sure how to start again after such an extended absence. I needed a clean slate in order to get going again, but I didn’t want to change URLs and all of the nonsense that goes with that. So, in order to achieve the “clean slate” without an actual move, I deleted all of the previous entries (save the “welcome”), changed the title, switched up the template, and will be making other changes as time permits. Hopefully this gets me back in the mood to actually write down all of the nonsense that floats around in my mind all day. :)

Bienvenidos
If you were a reader of any of my previous attempts at blogging (God bless you), then you already know that I go through phases. I get all excited about blogging, start one up, get burnt out on it, and eventually delete the whole thing altogether. A few months or so later, I’ll get the urge to blog again, and we’ll repeat the whole cycle. Usually when I start a new one, I post some rambling “welcome” post, full of promises to post more often, with more substance, and to stick with the blogging thing for a while. This time, I’ll save myself the guilt of not keeping my promises, by being honest from the start about what you can expect here:
- My posts will be sporadic, at best. I never have been a daily blogger and never will be. (If I do post daily, it’s just a fluke, and won’t happen very often)
- There’s a good possibility that this blog will just completely disappear within 6 months.
- I am not a very good writer. You’ll never read something incredibly deep or insightful here… just my ramblings about ordinary day to day stuff.
- I am a constant smart ass. Please don’t take everything I write seriously.
Now that we’ve got that all cleared up, welcome to my new blog. Anybody wanna bet on how long it takes me to get tired of it? ;)
